The Legend
The Legend
Once a plan is loaded in the Home tab, it displays a legend which illustrates all the visible objects on the current plan and their respective measure results. The legend is located, by default, in the top left corner of the plan. The legend is an object by itself. It is automatically generated on the Default Layer on each plan of a project.

The legend describes the visible objects on the plan. If an object has been set to Invisible on the plan, it will not be shown in the legend. If a whole layer has been set to Invisible, all objects of this layer will not be described in the legend. The legend inherits from the measure system settings (metric or imperial) and displays summary extension result information associates with each object.
The legend can be moved like any other object.
It contains five (5) user-definable properties :

- Line Thickness (default : 6). The line is the rectangle which contains the legend.
- Font Size (default : 40).
- Items per column to be displayed in the legend. In this example the setting is at 4 items.

- Show Measure. All objects measure results and respective extension results can be displayed (checked - Yes) or not (unchecked - No).

- The visibility of the legend (visible or invisible by checking or unchecking the checkbox). Note : If the Default Layer is set to Invisible, the legend will remain visible unless this checkbox is unchecked.
Modifying the line Thickness and/or the font Size will trigger an auto-adjustment of the contents of the legend.
