Export one or many plans in PDF format from the Plans tab

Export to PDF

The "Export to PDF" function in Active Takeoff creates one or many PDF files which contains the plan background and all the measuring objects added by the user as seen on the canvas. The PDF file(s) can then be printed or sent digitally.

By default, the Export to PDF function in Active Takeoff will select all pages of the project in the Plans tab to be exported. However, it is possible to select only the required page(s) :

Select the required pages by clicking them. Clicking many times on a page will alternatively change its state from selected to unselected.

Two (2) buttons are also available, allowing to select all pages or no page at all in one single click :

The plan export function in Active Takeoff allows the user to print the pages to one single file or to individual page files :

Once the page selection is done, the printing process can be launched or cancelled by clicking on one of these buttons :

According to the the previous selection, Active Takeoff will create one or many files that will be saved in the ...\Active Takeoff\My PDF Plans\Exported Files\...

A subdirectory will also be created. The subdirectory name is based on the original project name.

If the export is performed in one single file, the name of the file will be based on the project name (blue bubble). If the export is performed in many files, the names of each individual file will bear the name of their respective plans in Active Takeoff (red bubble) :
